This league will try to be flexible to allow for the possibility that folks can't make it every week. We'd like to encourage lasting teams, but also remain open to switching partners around if need be to allow flexibility.
Teams will be made up of just two partners. However, an individual can be a part of limited number of pairings. Records will be kept for each team, and for each individual tosser. Maybe by crunching the numbers, we'll figure out something to help set up the end of season tournament.
We'll play following regular recreational rules. Games will end at 21 points. Not 16 ends as they do in United Social Sports.
Question: What structure do you think would work best for teaming?
I like the idea of flexible teamming. Actually, I think I'd prefer to have a team that lasts the entire season, but I really like the idea of mixing it up a bit. Maybe we do a hybrid kind of thing. Like an individual can be a member of say 4 teams. We could keep team stats with scores for and against. We could also keep score for individuals as far as wins and losses. I think the record keeping will be important in this age of big data.
