The Questions: Can you play on Tuesday nights? Will you be in town for those dates?
I already know that I'll be unavailable on July 30th since we'll be in Michigan. Our anniversary is July 16th so we may be unavailable on that night. I might even be out of town for the tournament. But if this thing gets off the ground, I'd stick around for it.
ReplyDeleteOne concern about the alternate locations (i.e. Non-Newton House) is the question of getting the boards to the location. However, we do have 3 sets of boards so we could send one up to the Crestwood and one down to someone who lives near Meridian Hill Park (at least for the week of the hosting).
ReplyDeleteI thought about that too. I think it's the kind of thing that league officials will have to worry about on game day. We could do a thing like two people in a jeep of some sort stop at the off site location, drop off boards and one person while the driver puts the car someplace. Then after action it happens in reverse.
ReplyDeleteThe advantage to having off site games is that we can fully take advantage of having three sets of boards. So that's why the non-newton nights are cornhole until 8:30 on the made up schedule. We'll have much less waiting and not throwing on those nights.
At any rate, that was just a rogue idea that could be edited. I just thought you Mt. Pleasant low lifes, would appreciate the beauty of coming up to the Heights once in a while.
